The new route will go as follows:
Hualien Railway station ⇔ Qingxiu Monastery ⇔ Liyu Lake ⇔ Shoufeng Railway station ⇔ Xinguang-zhaofeng Leisure Farm ⇔ Fenglin Railway station ⇔ Lintian Mountain Forestry Center ⇔ Guangfu Railway station ⇔ Hualien Sugar Factory (Guangfu Sugar Factory) ⇔ Fuyuan National Forest Recreation Area ⇔ Ruisui Railway station ⇔ Ruisui Pasture
(The route is 91.4km long. A single trip is roughly 2 hours and 20 mins.)
